AN ENEMY'S SABOTAGE AT UKRAINE'S AMMO DEPOT HAS CAUSED A TRAGEDY IN VINNITSA REGION

A large-scale fire - that triggered a number of powerful explosions - broke out last  night at an ammunition depot on the outskirts of Kalynivka village, which is located 20 kilometers from the city of Vinnytsia. The depots occupy 600 ha – 1,000 ha, according to different sources. Among other there are placed Smerch, Grad and Uragan salvo fire systems. It is the country's second largest stock of Ukraine's Armed Forces after Balakliya.

The rescuers were immediately directed to the catastrophe place, as well as numerous volunteers and members of civic organisations, who had arrived to help evacuating and assisting locals. The police blocked the entrance to Kalynivka.

Explosions had been sounded in 200 kilometer range, the ammunition dispersal had reached up to 50 kilometers. In the morning the State Emergency Situations Service anounced on blocking of all types of traffic around the village. Ukraero-center had closed the airspace within a radius of 50 km around the fire zone. 14 trains in the area changed their routes. Also, the Sosonka-Kalynovka railway crossings had been completely closed to the trains due to the explosions. The fire has been localized around 7PM.

As it became known, on September 26-27, a search of Russian saboteurs was conducted on the territory of the Vinnytsia region under the leadership of the Anti-Terrorist Center of the SBU.

The following question arises: why such an important strategic object was so poorly protected that our enemies were able to do what they've done?

As to the perpetrators - the saboteurs of Russian-terrorist troops. lFor last three years their propaganda resources have been exploiting and promoting theses of "Ukrainian punishers, who kills they own people" and "good militias, who protect them." How, on this background, the occupiers justify this massive catastrophe that could took lives of whole population in vilages of the district?
